I am a consultant with over a decade of experience in journalism, think-tanks, geopolitical risk, development, and academia. I have focused on a wide range of topics, from violent conflict, sub-state armed groups, and climate change to geopolitics, foreign policy, and energy policy, primarily in Iraq, Iran, and West Asia.
I have been trained as a doctoral student at the University of Kent. A decade earlier, I earned an MA in International Relations from Central European University (CEU). At the European University Institute (EUI), I completed a fellowship dedicated to developing practitioners' policy impact.
My insights have been shared across prestigious platforms, including the Carnegie Middle East Program, Atlantic Council, Al Monitor, IISS, and Aljazeera Centre for Studies. International outlets like The National, Aljazeera, DW, and the Associated Press have featured my analyses and media comments.
Apart from work, I like sea walks, seafood, cafe hopping, reading (non-fiction), flaneuring, learning languages, making finely curated Spotify playlists, and socialising with all sorts of people.
