My work is grounded in extensive field research across Iraq, spanning the north, center, and south. 

I engage directly with district officials, tribal leaders, and local communities, drawing on qualitative interviews and on-the-ground programming to inform my analysis. 

This field exposure is complemented by high-level access developed through my work in journalism, where I have interviewed senior political figures, including former prime ministers and government advisors.
