On the 22rd and 23rd of February, I attended the 7th 'Baghdad International Dialogue' organised jointly by CARPO and the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue (IID). I spoke on a panel about Iraq's role in regional security climate efforts. The event included a Q&A with HE Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani.

The Carnegie Middle East Center held a virtual event titled 'The Houthi Factor: Gaza, the Axis of Resistance, and Middle East Stability' on 13th of August. I spoke in event about the evolving relationship between Ansarullah (Houthis) and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. 

I presented my PhD research at the 'Conflict & Change PhD Workshop' (sixth edition) held in the University College of London (UCL) on the 11th and 12th of March 2024. Presentation title: The varieties of tribal mobilisation in wartime: cases from Central Iraq.

The Luiss Mediterranean Platform held a hybrid roundtable titled 'What Does Iran Really Want?' on the 27th of February 2024. My contribution covered the behavior of Iran-allied Iraqi paramilitary groups and their reaction to the Israeli war on Gaza.

On the 23rd and 24th of February, I attended the 6th 'Baghdad International Dialogue' organised jointly by CARPO and the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue (IID). I met with HE Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani and HE Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid along with a small group of foreign and local academics and analysts in exclusive sessions.
